Observations from an Art Teacher. This blog is meant as a resource to share successful lessons, classroom management tricks as well as any other revelations that may occur during the course of a school day. Themed Tea Sets
These tea sets were thrown on the wheel by my Advanced Ceramics students at Reeths-Puffer High School in Muskegon. They learned the basic techniques in wheel throwing while producing a set that included two cups, two saucers, two plates, a cream and sugar bowl, along with their respective lids. They were challenged to design a set that displayed a theme either by subject matter or design principles.
